Entering Grade One, Two & Three
First Experience Camp
Special one week session for children who are new to resident camping
Dates: Sunday - Saturday beginning 6/29 and ending 8/16
Rates: Member $450 Non-Member $495
A fun-filled introduction to summer camping. Our youngest campers take part in a balanced schedule of individual and group activities, active and quiet times, cultural learning, and sports. They are encouraged to explore all activities and they are guided by our helpful, sensitive staff. Since this may be the camper's first time away from home, great care is taken to provide a supportive and caring atmosphere loaded with fun and excitement.



Entering Grades One - Three
Young Explorers
4 day sessions

Dates: Sunday -Wednesday beginning 6/29 and ending 7/16
Rates: Member $275 Non-Member $305
Our program is geared to the interests and abilities of young children. In a caring, nurturing environment, campers enjoy crafts, horseback riding, swimming lessons, nature study, sports, climbing wall, campfires, and more. Our cabin group "family" is ideal for making our younger campers feel at home! Young Explorers take part in camp theme days, campfires, and overnights. A fun, exciting, and memorable camping experience is our goal.


Entering Grades Four, Five, Six, & Seven
One Week Session (Traditional Camp)
Dates: Sunday - Saturday beginning 6/29 and ending 8/23
Rates: Member $450 Non-Member $495
Two Week Session (Adventure Camp)
Dates: Sunday - Saturday beginning 7/20 and ending 8/16
Rates: Member $790 Non-Member $870
While making new friends, campers participate in a wide variety of challenging and exciting activities and learn many new skills. Program includes an exciting campout in the woods and unique nightly evening programs including arts and crafts, group challenges, nature, climbing wall, swimming, athletics, canoeing, and more. Adventure campers will have the opportunity to participate in activities in greater depth.






Entering Grades Eight, Nine & Ten
One Week Session (Traditional Camp)
Dates: Sunday - Saturday beginning 6/29 and ending 8/23

Two Week Session (Adventure Camp)
Dates: Sunday - Saturday beginning 7/20 and ending 8/16
Rates: Member $790 Non-Member $870

This specially designed program offers teens an experience that is different from traditional camp. Teens are involved in planning their daily activities with staff. The emphasis is on empowering young adults to assume more responsibility for decision making, socially acceptable risk taking, and problem solving. Exciting activities include the camper's choice of extended horseback trail rides, special high ropes challenge elements, an in-camp, two day overnight back-packing trip and nightly recreational teen times.


Entering Grade Ten
LIT (Leader in Training)
Two Week Session

Dates: Sunday - Saturday beginning 7/20 and ending 8/2
Rates: Member $790 Non-Member $870
This unique program is designed for teens wanting to improve and develop their leadership skills. While participating in regular camp activities, L.I.T.s also take part in a variety of additional activities designed to focus on effective leadership traits. L.I.T.s will attend workshops and advanced team building sessions, and embark on a two-night camping excursion on Camp Weona property during their stay. L.I.T.s will choose a community service project to work on which improves the camp community. This is a wonderful opportunity for those teens who are strongly committed to camp and the positive values it reinforces. L.I.T.s are the leaders within the camp population and are respected by all campers and staff for their desire to develop themselves and those around them. This program is administered by the Teen Leadership Director with help from the senior counseling staff. Call our business office for more information.


Entering Grade Eleven
CIT (Counselor in Training)
Entering Grade 11 (CIT)
6 Week Committment
Dates: July 6 - August 16
Rates: Member $970 Non-Member $1065
Mature, enthusiastic teens can take part in this program designed to identify and develop the skills necessary to work as part of the counseling staff in a camp community. During the 3 or 4 week C.I.T. program, teens receive training in basic counseling, child psychology, emergency procedures, basic first aid and group work dynamics. C.I.T.s will also participate in advanced team building and take part in special off camp activities in the summer. Throughout the program, C.I.T.s are placed in cabins along with campers and staff to observe and participate in day-to-day counseling challenges and joys. C.I.T.s will work with children ages 8 to13 to provide experience at all different age levels. Potential C.I.T.s must submit an application and an interview with the Teen Leadership Director is required. Teens who successfully complete the C.I.T. program are given first priority for Junior Counselor positions at Camp Weona. Dates: 6/29 - 7/5
Rates: Member $550 Non-Member $595
Camp Weona's traditional resident camp experience combined with three hours each day of beginner/intermediate, general horsemanship, horse care, tack care, feeding, riding lessons and ring work.
