Our interest in supplying our customers with a larger diversity of supplies and exotic pets motivated us to move in 1980 to a larger location. In 2000, we made another move into an even larger facility.

Markheim Tropical Fish & Pets, Inc. is a family owned business. It all began with our love of animals. We were Markheim Kennels in the 1960's, breeding and showing German Shepherds. In the early 1970's we were breeding fish, birds, and small animals. In doing so we've acquired a vast knowledge and experience in raising many pets. In 1971 we opened our first pet store.

Specializing in Exotic Pets

Our reptile inventory includes Chameleons, Snakes, Arachnids, Iguana's, and much more captive-bred reptiles. Our saltwater inventory includes anything from Sea horses and Octopus to Sharks. We also carry other favorites such as Ferrets, Chinchillas and Sugar Gliders.
